Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in Belfast: The 1925 Visit

In May 1925 Sir Arthur Conan Doyle delivered two lectures on spiritualism to a packed Ulster Hall. It was a controversial visit, peppered with preachers, pickets and press censorship.

To mark the 90th anniversary, Alex Kane talks on “Sherlock Holmes and his Creator” while Oscar Ross will recount the visit in a talk entitled “Conan Doyle in Belfast.” Each talk will last approximately 20 minutes. A short Q&A will follow the second talk.
